A camera with high FPS increases the chance that you can nail the shot you want in events where your subject moves at high speed. Take, for example, a car speeding past the finish line. You have only one chance to get it right! We have found that the best way to approach this problem is to do a short burst before the car even comes close to the finish line and pick the image that looks best later on.
This approach also works great for capturing candid shots of people. By doing a short burst, you can pick the image with the best expression, later on, to ensure you get the best possible shot.
